Hi! Thanks so much for visiting my profile and considering me for therapy! I have been working with children and families for 30 years, always with a focus on trauma. I believe in meeting my clients where they are at, using strengths based, person centered therapy. I use an eclectic approach in therapy depending on your needs, often using elements from CBT, DBT, solution focused therapy and non-directional play therapy for young children. I believe there is never a one-size-fits-all approach for therapy and instead work to assess what will work best for you.
My specialties include working with children, adolescents, young adults and families who have experienced trauma, anxiety, depression, school struggles, behavioral concerns and family conflict/relationship struggles. I am also now focusing my practice on working with families who have children diagnosed with PANS/PANDAS.
My main goal in providing therapy is establishing strong rapport and a safe space to explore your concerns. I take pride in building relationships with the children and families that I work with. I want therapy to be a safe place for you or your child to be able to share your thoughts and feelings with no worry of judgment.

This is a therapeutic support group for parents who have children diagnosed with PANS/PANDAS or who suspect that their child may carry this diagnosis. This group will provide peer support, therapeutic practices and knowledge, as well as psychoeducation regarding PANS/PANDAS. The group will also address topics such as parenting, navigating the medical community, sibling relationships, family dynamics and common experiences among families. This group will be held via Zoom and is open to families in North Carolina and South Carolina.
