I work from a client-centered, trauma-informed approach, using EMDR and play therapy when appropriate, and tailor therapy to the individual—not a one-size-fits-all model.
I am clinically trained in, and currently use a blended multi-theoretical psychotherapy approach, working from a client-centered, strengths-based perspective. I utilize play therapy techniques with children of all ages, am EMDR trained, as well as trauma-informed in my therapeutic styles .
Therapy is a powerful tool that can provide a path to a healing and hopeful existence. I recognize the value of each client with unconditional, positive and non-judgemental regard. My hope is to be able to provide a safe, comfortable therapeutic space where clients are able to process their experiences freely.
