Hi! I'm Christy Graham, Founder of Acorn. Our christian therapists work with complicated families and situations, bringing in family members and other professionals to help effect change for clients. We focus on helping the systems already supporting your family be more effective. That translates into great skill and comfort working with schools, child care agencies, and courts for the benefit of my clients. Our clinicians have specific training in different modalities of trauma informed care (SSP & EMDR) and court informed treatment including reunification counseling and parent facilitation. Our passion is play - no one plays like kids! With extra training, experience, and supervision, we spend most of our days with kids under 12 and their families. Our clients range from anxious, ADHD, and depressed, to children learning to live with 2 homes. Our other niches are women with complex pasts and couples. We have online classes as well.

The Between Two Homes®: Children in the Middle Coparenting Class is our live class offered to families in the Dallas-Forth Worth metropolitan area including the counties of Collin, Dallas, Delta, Denton, Ellis, Hunt, Johnson, Kaufman, Parker, Rockwall, Tarrant, and Wise. The class is more than just a basic coparenting class, and it's not a parenting education class. The class exceeds the guidelines for co-parenting education courses in Texas. Our instructors are professionally dedicated to helping families transition during changes and meet the needs of children growing up between two homes.
