We are living in unprecedented times. The uncertainty of the future may be manifesting as anxiety and fear. You may have relationships that have become strained, due to the ever-growing divide in our society. You may find that the stress of the world around you has triggered past trauma, or that, compounded with issues you are dealing with in your personal life, it has all gotten to be too overwhelming.
For members of the LGBTQ+ community, people of color, women, or people from non-Christian faiths, there are additional concerns around personal safety, having your rights revoked, or increased discrimination.
I started my counseling career working with the LGBTQ+ community, using affirmative therapy. I have spent the last several years working with kids and teens; having worked with those in foster care, and with many neurodiverse individuals. I have a passion for social justice, and I want to continue advocating for the wellbeing of all people.
I want to offer a safe space for those who need a place to process their emotions, and, together, we can help find ways to manage all of life's stressors. I look forward to hearing from you, and joining alongside you on your healing journey.
