Hello! I am an LCSW in Virginia who works with adults to address concerns related to anxiety, depression, communication, self-esteem, self-confidence, and relationship issues. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness Techniques to assist clients with examining their overall thought patterns to identify what's working and what they would like to improve upon. I work intently, encouraging clients to focus their thoughts in a healthy manner and to make changes as necessary to become a happier version of themselves. All sessions are via telehealth. When meeting with clients, I listen intently, ask questions with purpose, and clarify the information being received. I welcome clients into each session, helping them to feel comfortable and safe. I routinely ask questions and welcome feedback. I encourage clients to thoughtfully consider their options in order to make healthy decisions for themselves.
I strive to create a healthy rapport with each of my clients. I assist clients with feeling safe, finding hope in therapy, being able to name their goals, and help clients to look at their options of how to address their issues. I provide clients with validation about their concerns and work together on identifying healthy ways to address these concerns.
