I see therapy not just as a form of a treatment but also as a gift we give to ourselves. Through therapy, we explore our thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and our relationship with others, including work and society. These explorations can be done alone but is more effective with a therapist, who can see patterns, themes, options, and solutions that we often overlook ourselves. Your relationship with me is a safe space to explore, to understand, to connect, and ultimately, to heal. Together, we will use evidence based therapeutic methods to develop healthy relationships with ourselves and with others.
I work with clients who are adjusting to life's many challenges (demanding job/school, aging, illness, relationship issues, and grieving). I enjoying working with those looking for a career change (reinventing one's self ) or in high stress jobs. In addition to being a therapist, I also have decades of experience in academia and biomedical research.
I work with adult clients (age 18+) from all ethnic background and from the LGBTQ+ and poly community. I am committed to provide culturally sensitive therapy to BIPOC clients and issues related to immigration or multicultural background. I see clients on Thursdays (with evening hours), Fridays, and Saturday mornings. Please email for current availability.
