I believe this is done through facilitating clients in gaining skills in self awareness, mindfulness, and developing new ways of thinking about feelings and events.
While I am trained in EMDR, I also have extensive experience in cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and solution focused therapy.
Over 15 years of serving children, adolescents, adults, and families has taught me the importance of working collaboratively with clients to find the right therapeutic approach. Clients are the experts on their lives and there is never a problem that can't be solved.
