Do you find yourself struggling with anxiety and depression? Often, but not always, these conditions are related to major life transitions or other challenging stressors. In a non-judgemental and compassionate manner, I help people identify their role in these struggles and offer guidance towards their resolution. During our sessions, I will support you in confronting these issues using techniques that enhance your ability to engage in reality based/rational thinking, reasonable decision making and other behaviors that lead to psychological wellness and stability.

Some examples of life challenges that clients come to me for help with include challenges at work or school, difficulties in relationships, substance abuse/smoking cessation, diagnosis with a serious illness, lifestyle changes, improving health practices/physical fitness/nutrition and many more!

In addition to my training as a mental health clincian, I incorporate my academic background in Philosophy into my clincial practice. A typical session may involve exploration of themes from Existentialism and Bhuddist Philosophy such as personal responsibility, authenticity, the pursuit of meaning in life and the mind-body connection.
