Hello there! My name is Chris and I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 16 years of experience in healthcare. I began my clinical career focusing on veterans and first responders struggling with PTSD and suicidality (due to my veteran background as a former combat medic in the US Army). Now, I have shifted to focus on those struggling with ADHD (due to my own ADHD), autism (due to my son's ASD), and addiction (due to my own struggles with addiction). But, I am open to seeing anyone and helping them to navigate their issues. For those seeking a faith-based therapist, I am a former Baptist who is now an Orthodox catechumen.
I have been trained in CPT and EMDR for those with trauma struggles. I also utilize ACT and CBT, both of which are highly researched and proven therapy models for both trauma and neuro-divergence. And I also sprinkle in DBT, solution focused therapy, mindfulness, and the occasional dad joke to help lighten the mood when necessary.
My desire is to better the lives of my clients so that they can return to a sense of normalcy, whatever that is for them, and to help them to take back their lives and minds.
