Book an appointment online through our website www.nassaupsychology.org! Chris received his master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling in December of 2023. Chris has experience working with the elderly, adults, college students, and young adults through his studies at Hofstra University as a case manager. Chris uses a person-centered, eclectic approach of psychotherapy, while using cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing to clients suffering from several types of issues such as anxiety, depression, gambling, grief and loss, stress and more.
Chris creates a comfortable environment by establishing rapport from the start. This rapport will be based on constant empathy, understanding, and listening without judgment. This environment will allow the patient to connect with the clinician in a way that engrains trust and understanding.
Chris's goal is to make his clients feel their current realities which will then create a sense of ownership of their future. He also wants to instill a greater sense of empathy for oneself while acknowledging that their present might be difficult. Ultimately, he wants to help increase the sense of awareness a patient has for their potential.
