Do you feel like you're on autopilot, just going through the motions of life? In a world that often pulls us away from what truly matters, it's easy to get stuck in patterns of avoidance that keep us from reaching our potential. These patterns are often reinforced by a faulty self-narrative and a lack of awareness about the connections between our attitudes, core beliefs, behaviors, and emotions. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, my goal is to help you gain clarity in these areas, which I believe is crucial for living a more meaningful and fulfilling life.
In our sessions, we'll work on turning new insights into meaningful change by stepping out of comfort zones, building a stronger sense of self, and fostering resilience through small, consistent actions. As a former distance runner, I believe in the value of putting in the "miles" or "reps"—those daily efforts that build confidence and growth.
My approach integrates Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. I have experience working with individuals aged 10 to 65 from diverse cultural backgrounds in both traditional and school-based settings.
