I have been working in the field since 1998 and have been in private practice since 2002. My experience is with a broad spectrum of physical, mental, and emotional difficulties. In private practice I do work with people in a traditional therapeutic setting, but I offer other methods that have been effective with clients who have not been receptive to other treatment.
Some unique approaches that I use are EMDR and experiential therapy. EMDR is a method used to treat symptoms of PTSD. Experiential therapies employ activities that stimulate issues and provide analogies to challenges that one might be struggling with in a larger context.
In my practice I provide individual counseling, family counseling, and relationship counseling. Alternative methods include experiential therapy, EMDR, and other contracts. Please feel free to ask about any of these methods and how they might help.
