Thanks for visiting my page, I am so glad you are here. I specialize in trauma and PTSD (including “big-T” and “little-t” trauma), ADHD, anxiety, depression, family changes, and developmental transitions. I strive to help clients of any age build compassion for their authentic selves and the various parts that make up who they are. From there, we work together to more effectively engage with family, work or school, and to find increased fulfillment and meaning in everyday life. After 12 years teaching elementary school, I pursued therapy to better support children, teens, and adults navigating emotional and relational challenges.
I believe each person has an innate capacity for growth, and my role is to offer a grounded space where you feel deeply seen and supported. I find that my specialty working with adults, is founded in my own journey navigating a complex, blended family. I use EMDR for trauma processing and a mixture of other treatment approaches based on your needs.
In our first session, we’ll talk about what’s happening in your life now, what feels heavy, and what you hope to change. I’ll ask about experiences that shaped you, and you can ask anything so you feel comfortable and in charge of the process.
