Thank you for taking a moment to learn about my practice! My name is Christopher, and I've been a New York-based psychotherapist and social worker for 16 years. I work with individuals and families from a diversity of cultures and identities. My clients tend to be from the LGBTQIA2S+ communities. They are seeking support with coming out, gender expression, grief and loss, illness, parenting, death and dying, relationships, spirituality, and work. I work well with clients interested in developing insight into their lives to create meaning and peace of mind. Clients find me to be kind, compassionate, and empathetic.
I am supportive, direct, and challenging when appropriate. My practice is based on an equality between the client and therapist; discovery and healing happening within this alliance. Together, with thoughtfulness and intention, we will respond to the concerns bringing you to therapy and alleviate your suffering.
I am trained in psychodynamic psychotherapy informed by mindfulness practice, contemplative psychotherapy, and cognitive behavioral interventions.
