For over 20 years, I’ve worked with neurodivergent children, teens, and adults, supporting those with autism (ASD), ADHD, anxiety, depression, and trauma. My clients often have a strong sense of self but struggle to bring this into larger social settings, including their families, schools, and the larger "normative" system. As a result, my clients struggle with emotional regulation, self-doubt, and the effects of systemic trauma, leading to an internalized feeling of “not good enough.” My goal is to help individuals recognize their inner strengths, access their innate wisdom, and live life as their authentic self in the world..
I work to create a strong, trusting, empathic relationship with each individual, family and system to support progress and well-being. I support clients to identify and practice emotional regulation strategies. I encourage individuals and supports to begin to shift their perspective to focus on strengths and abilities instead of deficits and needs
As individuals we tend to focus on our deficits, which are often reinforced by external influences. I will provide a safe, non-judgemental space for you to explore and reflect on your strengths, capacities, and motivation for change. Together, we can identify your inner resources, problem solving abilities, and empowerment strategies to enact change.
