I can create a nonjudgmental validating space for clients to process and express their needs and goals. Clients are the ‘master of their own experience’ and I can help them navigate how they want to write the next chapter. There is a time for mindfulness, time for cognitive reframing, and times where the best feedback is no feedback. There are various variables that can have someone seek therapy so I will maintain a trauma-informed and cultural competent approach. There is no ‘on sized’ fits all approach. I embrace that no client is the same and can use their own strengths to be a protective factor on their mental health journey.

I am well-versed in a plethora of coping skills to can help a client with emotional regulation skills and relapse prevention skills. I have a good "thermometer" if I need to pull clinically from a client or if the session needs a 'breather' with an activity like a gratitude-list. Being adaptable and passionate are strengths for me not leading dull sessions

Exploring seeking help is already a step towards someone intentionally wanting to be a better version of themselves.
