I love helping people feel more in control of their lives and the direction they want to go. In our work together, we utilize simple and practical tools from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to identify unhelpful thought patterns, which we refer to as automatic negative thoughts (or ANTs). Once we recognize these patterns, we learn how to gently shift them into more balanced and positive ways of thinking. This can make a big difference in easing anxiety, lifting depression, and building self-confidence. I’m also trained in EMDR, which allows the brain to do the healing work it was meant to do.
I offer Christian counseling grounded in Biblical principles, along with support for addiction, depression, PTSD, anxiety, grief, and trauma. Telehealth sessions are available. I’m licensed to provide therapy in DE, PA, NJ, SC, TN, TX, NM, NV, and DC.
