I am Christopher, a Licensed Professional Counselor with 3 years of experience working in a variety of counseling settings, including ambulatory crisis stabilization, inpatient hospitalization, residential treatment, and school-based services. I have extensive experience treating clients with mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma- and stress-related disorders, and disruptive, impulse control, and conduct disorders. I completed my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Randolph College and my Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Lynchburg College.
I enjoy forming open and empathetic relationships with my clients and walking with them through their path to healing and actualization. I utilize elements of cognitive-behavioral therapy, humanistic therapy, anger management, mindfulness, and dialectical behavior therapy to assist my clients in reaching their goals.
