I work best with men and young men (16+) who are capable and motivated but stuck: anxiety that won’t turn off, perfectionism, later-life ADHD or focus issues, school/college or career pressure, relationship strain, and patterns with alcohol or cannabis edging past “helpful.” Women and caregivers are welcome when a partner’s or son’s struggles affect them. Goals often include steadier mood, sharper focus, better sleep and follow-through, clearer boundaries, and relationships that feel less tense and more alive.
We’ll pinpoint what’s driving the problem and use practical tools from CBT, REBT, DBT-informed skills, solution-focused work, psychodynamic insight, and Motivational Interviewing for substance use. Expect a direct, collaborative style, clear goals, and small experiments between sessions you can actually use at school, work, and home.
