Often, we find ourselves in repetitive patterns that can appear to betray our deepest wishes for a fulfilling life. Psychodynamic therapy provides individuals with the opportunity to illuminate the interplay between their inner and outer lives, expresses curiosity about how experiences from their past may unknowingly be influencing their present, and engages in self-examination about feelings, thoughts, fantasies, and impulses. It is a space of tremendous possibility.
I especially enjoy working with other mental health clinicians/therapists who notice themselves having questions about their professional work and ways that it may intersect meaningfully with their personal lived experiences.
