I am a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC) working under supervision and direction. I am passionate about helping young adults adjust to new or different lifestyles, each with their own struggles, to live more meaningful lives. I specialize in addressing depression, anxiety, self-esteem, and life transitions through effective strategies. I completed my Master of Arts (MA) in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University. Before pursuing graduate studies, I applied my Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Economics in financial services.
I utilize several treatment approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), gestalt, existential, and Rogerian (person-centered) techniques, along with others. With my knowledge and exposure to multiple fields of study and their work-related outcomes, I understand the difficulties of various industries as well as career transitions.
Creating a space where clients can be their authentic selves is my priority. While my path to counseling has been unorthodox, I discovered that my true calling lies in therapy, especially as I realized the most rewarding part of my previous job was interacting with clients to help improve their lives.
