I work with clients to understand how thoughts, emotions, and communication patterns shift under stress and how these affect relationships, decision-making, and sense of self. My approach is practical and systems-oriented, focusing on how people move between clarity and emotional overload, and how this impacts access to effective thinking and behavior. We identify patterns that once worked but no longer fit current demands, then build adaptive tools for regulation, communication, and problem-solving. Clients often feel stuck or disconnected from their usual capacities; our work is to restore flexibility and function under stress.
My role is to "coach team members" in what are very Real survival situations. Members "empty their pockets" of resources and skills they may be unaware they have at their disposal. Methods to think-out-of-thee-box are employed, with discussion/coaching of different and more effective methods to utilize personal tools, or how to acquire additional tools.
My goal is to Return control, not remove it; to work as a team that stresses outcomes and results. Together we focus on the big picture not isolated problems, on Strengths and Solutions instead of flaws. Keep-It-Simple techniques that you can take into everyday life out of an office.
