Fear, anxiety, and doubt block out clear thinking. This can happen to any of us. We can all have "personal demons". And as human beings we all react the same way, often retreating to the more primal aspects that existed in our species before reason. The "Three F's" emerge : Fight, Flight, Freeze, those primal responses to trauma. As these responses existed before cognition, logic and reasoning are often short-circuited. Before we know it, other priorities are put aside or forgotten. We are now "surviving" daily, rather than "thriving" and benefiting from full life experience, fearing we lack the tools to manage these obstacles.
My role is to "coach team members" in what are very Real survival situations. Members "empty their pockets" of resources and skills they may be unaware they have at their disposal. Methods to think-out-of-thee-box are employed, with discussion/coaching of different and more effective methods to utilize personal tools, or how to acquire additional tools.
My goal is to Return control, not remove it; to work as a team that stresses outcomes and results. Together we focus on the big picture not isolated problems, on Strengths and Solutions instead of flaws. Keep-It-Simple techniques that you can take into everyday life out of an office.
