About
I am a clinical psychologist that works with children, adolescents, and adults in both English and Spanish. I believe that compassion and insight into one's personal struggles can lead to powerful, positive changes in life. I specialize in pediatric neuropsychological testing for children and young adults regarding learning, developmental, social, emotional, and behavioral difficulties. My collaborative approach to psychological testing seeks to empower parents and their child to gain a new perspective and deeper understanding of a particular child's unique strengths and individualized needs.
I specialize in psychotherapy for teens and adults that is relational and strength based. Each of us has unique experiences and related wisdom that can become overshadowed by life's difficulties. Through a trusting therapeutic relationship individuals develop more belief in their own abilities as well as foster increasing kindness towards themselves.
I also provide neuropsychological testing for children to identify or rule out ADHD, Autism, Behavioral Disorders, Learning Disabilities, and Intellectually Giftedness. I utilize a Therapeutic Assessment approach and also offer educational advocacy. Testing focuses on identifying a child's unique strengths and how to address and treat the areas of challenge.

Surf Circle Surf Circle is a surf youth development program for adolescent boys co-facilitated by four licensed psychologists. We provide a support system for middle and high school age boys grounded in surf lessons and facilitated discussion. Through these mediums, we foster self-awareness, confidence, and connection. Adolescence is a period of life that pulls for engagement with risk. Our program recognizes this developmental task and we work with youth as they learn to engage with taking risks in a thoughtful and intentional way in the water.
