Are you having trouble managing your anger? Everybody gets mad, but some people have a really hard time getting over their anger. Out-of-control anger can have serious consequences, including lost relationships, damaged property, or even legal problems. This group will use research-based cognitive-behavioral and mindfulness practices to help you understand and regain control over your anger. The group will run on Mondays for 8 sessions. Seeking Safety Group for PTSD and Substance Use
Seeking Safety is an evidence based group for addictions and trauma/ PTSD. This address problems related to trauma/PTSD and substance abuse at the same time. We will only talk about the impact of trauma on your life, and not the details of your experience. The group includes 12 sessions, at total cost of $890 ($80 per session), payable on registration. The group meets Tuesdays from 6pm - 7:30pm by video. Graduation certificates will be provided. The total cost of the program $960, payable on registration. Skills Training for Affective and Interpersonal Regulation (S.T.A.I.R.) is an evidence based treatment for PTSD, focused on helping people with PTSD manage challenges with emotional regulation and interpersonal problems. The group will use a trauma friendly approach to work through these problems by developing specific skills to help improve control over emotions and develop stronger relationships.
