I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 5 years of experience providing therapeutic interventions to help individuals navigate life’s challenges. My experience spans diverse settings, from the emergency room to retirement communities, working with individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and caregiving responsibilities for loved ones with Alzheimer’s or dementia. I earned my Master of Social Work (MSW) at Virginia Commonwealth University and trained as a clinician at MCV/VCU Health.
I use a strength-based approach in therapy, working alongside clients to identify and utilize the resources they already possess and to reduce the anxiety that often accompanies introspection. I believe that unraveling and understanding our emotions is often the first step in overcoming the challenges we face.
My goal is to create a nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe to explore their strengths, weaknesses, desires, and passions. Through this self-reflection, they can build the confidence to live their lives more fully. I’m here to support clients every step of the way on this journey.
