About
I like to work holistically and to integrate the worlds of psychotherapy and spirituality, so if you view your life as a spiritual journey and are encountering some psychological obstacles on that journey, I might be the right therapist for you. I work with people who have an already established meditation practice or I can help you find one that is a good fit. Issues that sometimes come up are old traumas, repeating relational patterns, and fear/doubt.
Some of the modalities I use include mindfulness, EMDR (certified therapist), de-throning the "inner critic", and internal family systems. I am certified in Judith Blackstone's " Realization Process" (Meditation, Spiritual psychotherapy, and Embodiment). I have been a student of the Diamond Approach for years and have studied a variety of spiritual paths.
Our first session will be an opportunity for us to meet and to determine whether or not it feels like a good fit for us to work together.
