My goal is to help people find meaning and purpose in life, find common pathways between actions and thoughts, and create a safe place to find positive solutions. Empathy, compassion, and understanding help me to take a relational, non-judgmental approach to my work. I provide direct, simple, and straight-forward techniques of communicating that are instrumental in helping people stay grounded, focused, and validated. I prefer to individualize treatment for each client by choosing the specific type of theory or therapy that meets individual, relational or family needs that target the desired outcome of therapy
I've completed Level 3 Practicum Training in the Gottman Method Couples Therapy and authored a co-parent and divorce course curriculum. My extensive experience includes helping people in the community for 18+ years 10+ years in my private practice with individuals, couples and multi partner relationships, mental health disorders, affairs and family systems
This experience, coupled with my inherent integrity, empathy, compassion, and genuine care for my clients' wellbeing, enables a better understanding of unique individual, couple, and familial relationships. This helps to individualize the care I provide to clients and better understand client needs, life patterns, cycles, and unmet needs.
