About
All people struggle at times. My approach is to hear these struggles from each person's unique point of view and to discover new options responding to these difficulties. I help people to identify their core strengths and values as resources for living. My approach also incorporates mindfulness and skill building for emotional resilience. I work with adults struggling with stress, anxiety, depression, anger, relationship issues, and/or addictions.
I work best with people who feel stuck and believe that change is necessary in order to get the lives they want. I specialize in working with adults with stressful lives and adults who are experiencing life transitions.
I am trained in the HEG pIR methodology of neurofeedback which I incorporate into my practice. Neurofeedback can improve executive functioning of the brain, specifically, the ability to regulate attention, pause, and to choose one's responses. It can be helpful for impulsivity, anxiety, migraine headaches, and sports performance enhancement.

Mindful Path: Transforming Stress thru Awareness
Stress can leave us with experiences of depression, anxiety, exhaustion, illness, physical pain, and general life dissatisfaction. By retraining how our bodies and minds respond to stress, we can free ourselves from the most damaging aspects of stress in our lives. A Mindful Path is backed by substantial medical research that shows mindfulness has positive benefits for immune function, chronic pain, parenting and relationships, anxiety, depression, cancer, and hypertension.
