I have been working in this field for over thirty years, and I truly enjoy helping people to improve their lives. I assess the needs of the individual, couple, and/or family, and work with them in a creative way to guide and support a person's committment for change. Everyone has different challenges in their life, and at times it is difficult to manage those transitions individually. I encourage clients to improve communication, rebuild healthy relationships, and increase a person's coping skills after they experienced a life changing event or transition.
I specialize in working with adoption related issues. Whether it is a child has recently been adopted, a child just learned that they were adopted, a person just turned eighteen and they are thinking about looking for their biological parents, and/or a child is having behavioral and emotional problems that are adoption related.
Creative Therapy Associates, was created to offer individuals a therapy service designed for their individual needs. Counseling Tailored to you. I do EMDR to help people deal with their traumas. I also do the Gottman Method for couples related problems. I truly enjoy working with families and helping them with life transitions.
