If you have a child with ADHD, ODD or another intellectual disability or have a history of that yourself, there is hope. It is my heart to meet everyone where they are at and to enable them to know that no matter what has happened in their life, no matter the trauma, there is light at the end of the tunnel.
My ability to empathise with a wide variety of individuals allows me to see the reality of their struggles. There is hope in every situation. So even if you have a lot going on, know that at times in my life, I have too. I hear you and I am here for you.
I have worked in the mental health or disabilities field for almost my whole life. When my kids were young I did in home respite for developmentally disabled persons. I have worked with teens in group home care, child advocacy center and DCF referrals along with first responders.
