I have worked with children and adults, both with and without intellectual/developmental challenges. My goal is to help people achieve a sense of mastery, autonomy, and purpose in their lives. By identifying and building on strengths you already have, we can work together to help create more balance and contentment in your life. I enjoy fostering mindfulness and other skills which reduce distress and build resiliency, and have co-authored a book on children and anxiety.
As a psychologist, I believe that we each have a unique developmental potential. By unfolding it, we can reach optimal mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical health. I provide clients with a respectful, safe, and validating counseling relationship in which old patterns can become new possibilities.
I am always happy to chat by phone to hear your concerns and see how we might work together to address them. Please feel free to call at any time!
