My educational background consists of earning my BA in Psychology, a master's in clinical counseling, and a Master's in Addictions. I am a LPCC 16395 and am a certified addictions counselor. My areas of concentration include grief and significant trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, addictions, and a sub-concentration in eating disorders. I use evidence-based, solution-focused modalities of treatment. I work with clients to develop an action plan to better manage individual's unique experiences and lives.
I work with adult and older teen clients. I work with acute trauma including survivors of rape, suicide, murder, or natural disaster events, chronic trauma including domestic violence, abuse, and complex trauma, with additional specialties in addictions and eating disorders. I offer group therapy for adult survivors of childhood trauma.
I am evidence-based and solution-focused. I will explore with clients' ways to grow, further develop self-acceptance, and unearth traumatic experiences and daily stressors that are hindering from achieving highest potential. I will provide an unbiased listening ear in a safe and accepting environment.
