Dr. Christine Powell- Education Therapist, works with children with diagnosed and undiagnosed learning challenges. Dr. Powell has specialized training and experience working with students with Executive Functioning disorders, including ADHD. Fulbright Scholar (Singapore 2019), published researcher, and learning disabilities advocate. Offering Individual sessions for students grades 4- 12, and special education advocacy. A child's unique learning profile/neurobehavioral footprint is key to helping them move beyond checklists and organizers. I help your child create momentum for lasting academic and behavioral change.
I help children struggling in school. Though a customized strength-based approach, and neurobehavioral insight, I develop Life Skills in organization, decision making, planning, goal setting and goal SUCCESS!
Seeing my own son struggle with ADHD was difficult. As a special educator, I wanted to have alternatives to prescription medication for his lack of focus and attention.
