Hello, my name is Christine Palmieri, and I’m a licensed professional counselor. I enjoy working with teens, young adults and adults. I specialize in working with anxiety, depression and mood disorders, as well as grief, loss and trauma.
I utilize a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approach with my clients, as well as motivational interviewing techniques and solution focused therapy. I work with my clients as your co-pilot. You drive the trajectory of the sessions, and I work with you on processing things and working towards your goals.
The life experiences you have shape the way you view the world, and in response the way you interact with the world around you. Therapy is a safe space for you to work through problems, emotions, thoughts and experiences so that you can continue to function in your day-to-day life without carrying such an emotional burden.
In the past I have worked in community health settings and provided in home supports for families in Bridgeport, CT.
In my free time I enjoy cooking, gardening, and spending time with my family, friends and dog.
