With extensive training in serving diverse populations, I work through a Health at Every Size lens and welcome clients needing support in this area. I specialize in the treatment of trauma and eating disorders and the intersection of attachment and sensory processing issues. I also work with life transitions, anxiety, depression, learning differences, issues impacting the LGBTQIA+ community, parenting and resolving shock trauma.
I have extensive training in Somatic Therapy including Somatic Experiencing and Embodied Recovery. I work with a psycho-biological approach and often integrate expressive arts and movement into my work with clients. My work is also informed by my training in Mindfulness, ACT and DBT as well as my background, teaching arts in the public school system.
My work is wholeheartedly driven by my firm belief in the resiliency of the human spirit. I believe that each individual holds their own answers and I would be honored to share in your journey to orienting to your unique capacity to heal and live authentically.
