I'm Christine Newman, a licensed independent social worker specializing in the empowerment and support of individuals who consistently find themselves striving to meet the needs of those around them, often to the detriment of their own emotional and physical well-being. If you're struggling with sadness, anxiety, resentment, and poor boundaries in your relationships, I'm here to walk with you on your journey toward reduced anxiety, healthier connections, self-compassion, and an improved quality of life. I specialize in helping clients with unhealed trauma, anxiety, and depression. I assist clients to navigate relational and emotional issues using trauma-responsive care. My therapeutic approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT, TF-CBT) to address unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors, while fostering increased self-compassion and self-worth.
With over a decade of experience, I provide an affirming space to explore your thoughts and emotions openly.
