Trauma is a complex issue, and not all therapists are familiar or comfortable with it. I have worked extensively with adult trauma survivors, focusing primarily on domestic violence, sexual assault, and childhood abuse, and I strongly believe that it is possible to recover from traumatic experiences.
I primarily use a Cognitive-Behavioral approach, however, I also employ concepts, techniques, and strategies from other theories when I believe they are necessary or would be useful. My goal is to help you to get better, and to move forward from surviving to thriving.
