I am a Licensed Clinical MH Counselor and Registered Play Therapist specializing in treating children, parents, and women of all ages. Having previously taught kindergarten and serving as a school counselor, I am very familiar with childhood issues and well-equipped to address them. I help women, children, and parents develop effective strategies to manage emotional and behavioral issues; as well as resolve root issues behind repeated patterns of failure in their lives. My goal is to remove hindrances to help individuals reach their full potential in life.
I specialize in child-centered play therapy; drawing from directive play therapy strategies, as well, to target specific problem areas. I assist parents in the areas of adoption and foster care, discipline, communication and building emotional connection with their child. I have training and experience in treating women for a wide variety of issues.
I am also a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) and belong to the International Association for Trauma Professionals (IATP). In addition, I am equipped to provide Christian counseling to those who desire it. I draw from a wide variety of treatment modalities to best meet the unique needs of each client to successfully meet their goals.
