Life comes with many complicated challenges. At times seeking support can be difficult, but it is the first step towards discovering a pathway towards personal growth, insight and deeper self-understanding. I am Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Board Certified Art Therapist. I have been serving diverse populations from a variety of cultural and ethnic backgrounds, race, and socio-economic status. Most specifically, since 2004 I have been specializing in treatment of individuals that have been diagnosed with chronic pain.
In private practice, I compassionately support adults & teens struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, chronic medical conditions, grief/loss, and life transitions that include work, family and relationship issues from a Humanistic/Existential approach that may also include components of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy & Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
Regardless of theoretical framework, my approach is to always create a safe, trusting and supportive therapeutic environment. I am interested in getting to know about your unique experiences and goals for therapy. Collaboratively we will work together to establish a treatment approach that works best for you.
