The demands of life can sometimes be difficult to navigate on our own. A therapeutic environment can be a safe and supportive place to address these demands. As a psychotherapist, I work from a compassionate and practical perspective. I enjoy helping others gain insight, find their inner strength, develop healthy communication skills and learn to cope. Most people who are looking for a therapist are searching for an ally and someone who can help them get relief as soon as possible. I use a highly empathic, relationship-based approach that is focused on symptom relief.
For over 14 years, I have helped clients with anxiety, depression, eating disorders/body image, trauma, shame, grief/loss, relationship issues, parenting, and school-based concerns. I work with adolescents, adults, couples and families to develop attainable goals and bring about the change they hope to achieve.
I work to treat the whole person and collaborate with each of my clients to provide individualized care. When appropriate, I can work collaboratively with a team of dietitians, medical doctors, and psychiatrist to ensure comprehensive care. My goal is to help you feel supported, heard, and focused on your inner strengths.
