Hello! My name is Christine Gaddis, LCSW. I help people struggling with depression and anxiety related to trauma or the stressors of daily life, by assisting them in developing clarity and insight into their challenges and identifying a path towards a life that feels meaningful and manageable. I practice from a place of professional development and my own recovery. I don't believes that therapy is one-size-fits all so I practice from multiple frameworks including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Internal Family Systems.
I work with people who find themselves feeling stuck in depression and overwhelmed by anxiety and who are ready to live differently. I believe that laughter is good medicine and work best with people who are open to rediscovering reasons to laugh and smile again. I value authenticity.
I create a safe space for both my clients and me to show up as our authentic selves. I create a space where it is ok to miss the mark on the first couple of tries and will partner with you as you get up, dust yourself off, and try again. I strive to instill nuggets of hope in each session and celebrate even the smallest of victories.
