Christine Forte is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Rhode Island and Massachusetts who has been practicing for approximately 25 years. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, and Bachelor’s Degree in English from Rutgers University in New Jersey, and her Master of Social Work degree from the Fordham University Graduate School of Social Work in New York City. During her career, Christine has had the privilege to have partnered with people from all walks of life and assist with the struggles they faced.
Much of her work has focused on issues of depression, anxiety, PTSD/trauma, loss, family issues, and general, everyday life stressors, strengthening coping skills, and building new skills. Christine’s clinical experience includes medical social work, forensic social work, foster care/adoption, substance use, and community health.
Christine works to combine humor with compassion and empathy for all people. in a safe and non-judgmental space where we can be heard and validated.
