When life gets hard and you feel like it's just too much to handle, reach out. I can be that safe space to help you explore situations, examine your perspectives and validate your feelings. In my practice, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you to find new perspectives. Think of CBT like a series of short, empowering classes that help you break out of old habits, mindsets or behaviors, one step at a time. Together, we will change negative patterns and build a healthier you. We are all just works in progress. You deserve to gain new understandings to help you feel equipped to handle whatever life throws your way.
I also use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), as it is a highly effective, evidence-based therapy that helps the brain reprocess stuck, difficult memories so they lose their emotional charge. Instead of just talking about the past, I use guided, side-to-side eye movements, that are research based, to help the brain heal itself naturally.
