Everyone needs help at times, and that’s okay. I have several years experience working with individuals dealing with chronic anxiety, chronic depression, complex trauma, and issues related to neurodiversity. I’ve worked with girls at the end of high school transitioning to college, as well as adults of multiple genders. I also have many years working with children in different settings, many of whom dealt with multiple diagnoses. Some of these issues include ADHD, OCD, autism, depression, anxiety, and trauma.
With adults and some older children I use a combination of Internal Family Systems (IFS), CBT, and DBT. I also use mindfulness as well as tapping, or Emotional Freedom Technique, which has a history of being effective for trauma and other issues. When working with children I use a combination of art and play to help them feel happy and capable.
I've been told by others that I have a calming presence, that my clients feel accepted & cared for, and that I'm good at listening and understanding how my clients feel. I'm happy to have a phone consultation with you to see if we'd be a good fit, and I wish you the best as you seek help! (P.S. My website is currently under construction!)
