If your life is not working as well as you believe it should and you are willing to investigate why, you are my ideal client. I believe in the dignity of each individual, that each life has meaning and purpose I understand the importance of an empathic, therapeutic bond. I use a developmental approach that integrates cognitve behavioral, existential components, and psychodynamic theory with a systems approach, and I work from a Christian worldview.
In addition to directing my private practice of 18 counselors in 9 sites throughtout the greater Washington DC area, I lead groups for a national ministry which holds intensive workshops throughout the country dealing with root causes in emotional eating and healing from infidelity, childhood trauma and loss.
