Life changed overnight. We are going through losses - the end of a relationship, death of a loved one, divorce, job change, financial change, retirement, having to stop doing the things we love to do. We worry about the health and well being of ourselves and our loved ones. You might be a young adult worried about your future or how to live with your parents again after moving back home, or a parent dealing with the challenges of living full time with your partner and children, or a senior worried that you will never again be able to be a part of greater society. I have 20 years of experience as a psychotherapist in private practice; working with adults, adolescents, seniors, and children. My style is a combination of psychodynamic and cognitive therapies, exploring together where you come from, the influence of the past on present patterns, as well as the development of new skills to change thought and behavior.
Together we can create a safe space to process, express, share, and release anxiety. We will seek to find a way to experience the fear while living in the present.
