I work with clients in a holistic, non-pathologizing approach. Addressing symptoms alone does not work with the whole person and many symptoms are related. The goal is to improve overall functioning, satisfaction with life, extinguish unhealthy coping mechanisms and addressing 'blockages' to healing.
Internal Family Systems and EMDR are very respectful and evidence-based approaches. Hypnotherapy can help with addictions and get to the root of wanting to numb or avoid. Trauma treatment has come a long way and assessing and treating this is imperative for overall healing.
