I specialize in working with the LGBT+ community and people in polyamorous/CNM, and "nontraditional" relationships. I also enjoy working with individuals who are questioning/leaving their faith or have experienced religious abuse/trauma. I am also very comfortable helping people navigate and cope with complex medical issues, chronic illnesses, life transitions, relationship challenges, and general life stressors. My favorite part of being a therapist is helping people reach their full potential despite the challenges they are faced with. My counseling style is compassion based and client driven. I draw from many theoretical frameworks to meet the needs of my clients. I lean heavily on ACT, Feminist Theory, Narrative, and Existential Therapy, among others. I strive to provide a non-judgmental space where my clients can be their authentic selves and work toward achieving their goals.
