Far too often individuals deny themselves the benefit of therapy because they believe that doing so would be acknowledging their own personal faults or weaknesses. As a masters prepared clinician, I provide a nurturing environment whereby individuals feel safe to explore solutions to their current life challenges without fear of judgement. Building a strong, trusting, therapeutic relationship is the foundation for the collaborative work that will take place during sessions. I have an eclectic counseling style which utilizes the therapeutic modalities of Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy. This therapeutic approach is effective when working with individuals facing issues of depression, anxiety, grief/loss, interpersonal conflict, as well as other life stressors that surface during times of transition or emotional upheaval.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I help individuals discover their inner strengths, and empower them to advocate for their personal well-being by developing coping skills that can result in life long benefits while renewing their sense of "hope."
