I am accepting new clients in my La Mesa office. I work with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. I believe that everyone has the answers within themselves and just need someone to sit with them as they explore possibilities. I will collaboratively help clients build a client plan using MAPS goals for measuring gains for the purpose of helping clients reach their goals and improve their mental health and wellbeing.
I am a solution focused, client centered therapist and believe that everyone has it within themselves to improve the quality of their life and sometimes we just need someone to walk along side us during this journey. I consider it an honor when I am allowed to be part of someone's journey and I acknowledge it takes courage to come to therapy.
Therapy is work, similar to the gym, only you are building a stronger mental self. It takes courage to reach out, but the journey is so worth it. It's worth it to feel better, more alive, and stop unwanted thoughts, feelings, and/or behaviors that are getting in the way of you being the very best YOU you can be.
